Founded in 2014, Seabold Cellars focuses on cool-climate wines of the California Coast. During his storied career at Seattle’s landmark Canlis Restaurant and Spago Beverly Hills, Chris apprenticed at Gramercy Cellars in Walla Walla and Brewer-Clifton in Sta. Rita Hills before putting down roots in Monterey County. Seabold’s sustainable vineyard practices and minimal intervention approach in the cellar produce wines that speak more to their place of origin rather than winemaking.
